Today, students presented their results from the #IoT citizen science project. They used a DIY sensor system to quantify individual situations at home which are related to energy usage. Findings revealed a broad range of building properties making potential savings sometimes hard to achieve. Individual reports publicly available. Separate blog post soon to come.

Citizen Science project for energy saving and sustainability started today. For the next 1.5 months students of our masters program Digital Business Engineering measure their individual informal routines using sensor nodes to identify energy savings. Each student's report will be publicly available together with data from the sensor nodes. Part of the #IoT lecture #hhz_bb
