I'm sad to admit that I've reinstalled W11 on a second drive :ohgno:. The #ProAudio on Linux is not over and I'm still using #Debian as my daily drive for coding, gaming, and general use.
Sadly I'm too reliant on Ableton Live (and some VSTs) to create music and I've struggled the last 5 years or so to be creative after nearly 10 years of playing and making music. I've been feeling quite creative again and trying a completely new ecosystem was adding too much friction.

Small update on the #ProAudio journey on Linux. Getting basic functionality is actually way easier now than it's ever been. On #Debian running GNOME with all the defaults all you have to do is install pipewire-jack and some GUI to control piepwire/wireplumber. I've found Cable to be very easy to use and just use Coppwr or qpwgraph as a patch bay actually reminds me a lot of 2010s era Mac audio workflow. Just need a better way to handle VSTs now, this will be a pain point for a lot of users...

Went to my first meet-up in a very long time, first one since COVID for sure. It was really nice to meet new people and do something together that we were all interested about. This time it was a Missing Maps and HOTS event, a Mapping Party. It was great to be able to help map rural Victoria and help identify buildings in fire-prone areas for disaster prevention/relief.
