Headed out for today's 14.1 km walk with bated breath. Would today be the day that the old ticker sends me to the doctor? Well, no. About the same speed at 9:21 per but the heartrate was down to a moderately light 100 bpm (67%). The mystery abides. It was a gentle 11.7C with 71% humidity.
Other than that, I got nothing. -
Like sands through an hourglass, so too the walks of our todays. Or something. 14.1 km in rather a pleasant 16.1C with 78% humidity. A pretty snail-like 9:24 per that apparently almost killed me at a pounding 146 bpm (a deadly vigorous 97% of the max). I, too, would like to know what's going on.
That is all the news so far. -
Thought I was zooming on today's 14.0 km walk. Felt like I was zooming, alas only 9:07 per km and an almost moderate, but still light at 103 bpm and 69%. Not zooming.
The weather continues to be clement at 11.1C and 74% humidity. -
Raining for today's 14.0 km walk. 9:28 per km, but take that with a grain of salt. A moderately light 102 bpm (68%), c.f. yesterday.
15C with 78% humidity.
Not very exciting, but there you have it. -
Headed out into a nice (12.8C with not so nice 93% humidity) morning for today's 14.2 km walk. Felt pretty good cruising at 9:08 per km and figured the heartbeat would be around a hundred. Surprise! I could have died (literally). 145 bpm. Let's skip the moderate and vigorous and head directly to the strenuous with jaunts into the red zone. WTAF? That's averaging 97% of the max.
Some weird alternative reality today. Maybe Cthulu is stirring. -
Venturing out for today's 14.1 km walk reasonably sure that I am protected from covid and measles (but still masked). A very clement 13.3C with 86% humidity, and breezing along at a (relatively) quick 9:06 per. Pretty much mired int the moderately light zone at 68% and 102 bpm.
Until next time, keep cool but care. -
Today's walk was derailed by the after effects of a couple vaccines.
Ugh. -
14.1 km (no big shock there) for today's walk. Pretty close to the mean speed at 9:37 per km and a lightly light 65% (97 bpm).
50.0C and 93% humidity.
And that sums it up, back on your heads. -
There was wind (~20 kph), there was rain, there was the the temp and the dew point which were the same at (17.8C) with 97% humidity, there was a poncho and gortexed shoes. Which sets the stage for today's 14.2 km walk. Which took a while at 10:02 per km and which I worked for at a lightly moderate 109 bpm (73%).
A poncho seemed like a good idea at the time, but now my days off are limited to rain with thunder & lightning. -
So the thrills on today's 14.2 km walk were postponed. Given the history of said thrills, that probably means cancelled. Yep. Well anyway it took 9:27 per km and generated a 65% exercise rating (lightly light 97 bpm).
A pleasant 15.6C with 75% humidity round out the stats and opinions. -
Well, the forth wasn't with me on today's 14.1 km walk. 99 bpm which translates to a lightly light 66% exercise value seemed to be quite the struggle. Go figure. It was 11.7C with 63% humidity.
As far as punny dates go, I prefer pi. -
Today's walk (14.2 km) was pretty good, if a little cool (5.6C, 93% humidity). Took an okay 9'11 per km and generated a 100 bpm (moderately light 67%).
The scale remained unmoved at 65 kg. I would suspect tampering, but it is analog with two beams.
Carry on. -
So today's 14 km walk was the same length as yesterday's and took the same amount of time (9:12 per km). But a more relaxed moderately light 69% (103 bpm).
The temp was 18.3C with 78% humidity.
Pretty much has me baffled.
