Yesterday I also built V2 Assault-Buster Gundam (1/144 in High Grade), painting partially.
The machines in V-era are smaller than in other Gundam works. And their curvy design aligns with the image of "futuristic sophistication" assumed in the 1990s. (Like in iMac in1998. Victory Gundam was aired in 1993.)

I took out the old kit I had made in my student days from the back of my room to show my friends.
The proportions are problematic with the upper body being too small and the legs being too large, which is a bad habit Bandai aiming for the so-called "heroic physique" but it may look better balanced when the weapons are attached.

I put the kit and Toutou side by side. (*image 4) :aquasmile:
The kit of Toutou (東塔: East Pagoda) at Yakushiji (薬師寺) Temple in Nara Prefecture was released by Fujimi. Both plastic kits are on the same scale: 1/100.
