Rona Kachta shrine is pretty easy to reach albeit anxiety inducing a little bit. The fun part is taking out all of the guardians one by one after you compete the shrine 🤣🤣

342 hours later I have way more than enough skills, resources, and weapons to go fight Ganon but still putting it off. Not sure I wanna fight him when I’m still struggling with Lynels.
Used to summon Wolflink to deal with random enemies but haven’t called on him in a while now and major tests of strength are just waiting for guardians to get electrocuted since learning how to deal with them efficiently. Guardians in general aren’t scary anymore and those spider ones, you can just cut their legs off.
Still more than 800 korok seeds to find, one more shrine to unlock, and a few royal items to recover.
I’ve not really played a Zelda game since the original Legend of Zelda on the NES and this is probably the most fun I’ve had on a console since GTA IV and Gran Tourismo.

I just got the cardboard version of the #VirtualBoy headset for my #NintendoSwitch and immediately tried it with Zelda BotW and Super Mario Odyssey - both work as well as with the Labo set.
But that made me wonder if the graphics and performance for both games in #VR is any better on #NintendoSwitch2 - did anyone test it out yet?

If Zelda BOTW was on a scale 1-10 a 4 from the difficulty of the quests/shrines - then Zelda TOTK is 7 to 8.
You really have to twist your mind with all the new constructions you can build. This will take a while to think that quest solving way.Sometimes a little bit frustrating, maybe I need to watch some others how they solve the quests, to understand the constructions.

Today I learned, one of the reasons that some consider the dimensions of Zelda BOTW much more expansive is: they are not measuring space but time.
The passage of time.“It only takes a few minutes to fly across the entire desert, and less than a half hour to cross the entire map on foot. However, the time scale is 60x faster than real life, so one would need to take this into consideration”

Players ‘estimates’ of the Zelda maps size if it were in real world are actually all over the place, so I just settled on a rectangle 8km n/s by 10km e/w to quickly see how it compared with some old familiar places.
Matters of scale and conversion are a real rabbit hole for me. I used to have a mental image of the same map of Hyrule if Link were a 1 inch tall figure, as it relates to an area of floor at work. Hyrule cliffs are many stories tall, I’d be a way big Kaiju.

Looking for that Google Earth overlay of the map of Zelda Breath of the Wild. It was placed over New Orleans.
And actually, I would like to be able to exit the KML file to place it anywhere.
If no one into maps geographical info systems
or Zelda knows that much, size of the map rectangle in vertical and horizontal Zelda scaled feet might suffice.
