Bought a ticket to see YONAKA in Limelight 2 in September. See URL below.
I saw them in Belfast Voodoo club before the Lockdown in 2020.

Yonaka’s Until You’re Satisfied album has been reduced to £4.99 on iTunes UK. It’s number 5 on the interim UK Official Charts.
They are trying to get it to Number One in the final chart at the weekend.
I’ve already bought it twice (Vinyl and Digital Download) so I won’t buy it again on iTunes.

Ordered a copy of the new Yonaka Until You’re Satisfied album on vinyl. It's out tomorrow. Which means the digital version will drop at midnight.
I don't have a record player. Bought to support the artist. They are back to producing the type of music I like. After a detour into styles I didn't like.

I like the direction Yonaka have taken with their recent releases. I loved their early stuff. I didn’t like the stuff produced over the previous period. A time during which they cited Kanye West as an influence in several interviews. Yuck.
Maybe the producer on the recent three tracks from the forthcoming album, Dimitri Tikovoi, has nudged them in a new direction.

Yonaka have released a cover of You’ve Got Another Thing Coming by Judas Priest.
I like it a lot more than Yonaka’s recent original releases. I love the first few years is Yonaka’s output, but I’m not a fan of the direction they have gone in recently.
Spotify is listing this as a 2022 track. Apple Music has today as the release date. Rob Mason is listed in the credits. He left the band about 2 years ago. So, recorded in 2022.

New Yonaka song out. I like it. Which isn’t true for the last few releases. I’d still like to know why the drummer Rob Mason left the band, and why they scrubbed the Yonaka online presence to remove all mentions and pictures of him. He is listed in the songwriter credits for the new song as it was created when he was in the band.

The Beaches. I haven't been as excited about a band since I discovered Yonaka in 2017.
I hope The Beaches don't go in a direction I don't like. The way Yonaka has a bit. Fair play to them BTW, they need to play what they want.
