    I hate that! Occasionally, I complain to the NYT games editor that it’s wrong that missed days break a streak. Perhaps if others joined the chorus, they would rethink that particular rule.

    “Where have you gone Joe Dimaggio / A nation turns its lonely eyes to you…” I’ll definitely be singing that chorus if I ever get close to 56
