    HELP ME PARTICIPATE IN WORDCAMP EUROPE IN POLAND!

    Friends, after volunteering at #WordCampEurope 2022 in Porto, last year I decided to participate in #WCEU2026 in Poland, a trip I've always wanted to take.

    Everything was going well, but the situation has changed a lot in recent months. So much so that I even thought about canceling the trip, but I would lose everything I had already paid for.

    With combined relief and light sadness I have informed our staff today that I will not be attending WordCamp Europe 2023. I've been feeling fatigue for while now and will take some distance from the WordPress events and travelling in general (for the record, I hate all kinds of travelling and social gatherings, as much as I try to enjoy it, it's really causing my anxiety spike).

    I've always considered more about our team rather than myself. This year I'll think about my own well being. I will take that week to be with my family. The war doesn't need one man. I'm sure my team will enjoy the trip despite this. See you perhaps at #WCEU 2024. Have fun in Athens this summer everyone!
