🚨🇩🇪 No doubts about Nick #Woltemade. Julian Nagelsmann is a big admirer, and Woltemade will be part of the World Cup squad.
On his recent dip in form, Nagelsmann said @kicker: “He’s a young player who needs time to develop, as you can see now in Newcastle.“
„So I don’t expect him to score 15 goals in Newcastle and then shoot us to a World Cup title. He’s welcome to do that, but it would be extraordinary. I told him only last week to stay relaxed. We have trust in him.“

Wow.
Solche Seggl.

🚨🧨 Nick #Woltemade’s agent, Danny Bachmann, on the declined FC Bayern offer via DPA:
“The solution demanded by Mr Wehrle this week, within the framework of a questionable deadline, was today delivered as a complete package from the interested party and the player’s side together, amounting to more than €60 million plus a sell-on clause.”
“The supervisory board’s response – demanding an unrealistic €75 million for a player who joined on a free transfer but with a salary classification in the lower midfield – not only lacks any basis, especially for a domestic transfer, but is also in stark contradiction to previous agreements.”
-
🚨🧨 BREAKING | FC Bayern today submitted a new offer for Nick #Woltemade, proposing €60m plus bonus payments and a sell-on clause.
VfB Stuttgart rejected it, even though the player’s camp believed the package would be sufficient. Stuttgart demanded €75m from Bayern today — something Bayern will not do.
-

The claim that they would be open to talks from €65 million onwards is not confirmed by anyone at #VfB. It also remains unclear where Bayern’s limit will be. There is still no meeting between the executives of the two clubs. The positions remain hardened.
-
🚨🧨 “If a Bundesliga record offer of €55 million isn’t even enough to warrant a personal meeting, you really have to ask what VfB actually consider to be extraordinary. This was not foreseeable,” Danny Bachmann, the agent of Nick #Woltemade, told DPA.
As of this morning, there has still been no third offer from FC Bayern. VfB Stuttgart waiting. Most recently, an offer €50m euros fixed + €5m in add-ons + 10% sell-on clause was rejected.
-
🚨🔴 As expected, FC Bayern have submitted a second written offer for Nick #Woltemade. This time: 50 million euros fixed, plus 5 million in add-ons, plus a 10% sell-on clause.
As expected, VfB Stuttgart have rejected it again. VfB want more. Negotiations are ongoing.
-
🚨🧨 Stuttgart’s CEO Alexander Wehrle about Nick #Woltemade: “We are not letting him go. He will also be playing with us next season,” he says via Stuttgarter Nachrichten.
⚠️ However, for the first time, Wehrle is leaving the door open for a transfer, saying: “Unless Bayern do something truly extraordinary, then we are all professional enough to talk about it.”
So far, there have only been phone and video calls between the clubs’ executives. Stuttgart have so far declined a meeting with Bayern, as reported. @[email protected] 🇩🇪
-
🚨🔴 VfB Stuttgart are expecting an improved offer from FC Bayern for Nick #Woltemade shortly, although they have actually signalled to Bayern that they are not available for negotiations in the current ranges.
The first offer of 40 + 5 with 4 payment instalments has been rejected.

🚨🔴 VfB Stuttgart boss Fabian Wohlgemuth on Nick #Woltemade:
“FC Bayern have expressed their interest,” the VfB sporting director confirmed. “But we made a long-term agreement with Nick almost one and a half years ago – and that still stands. So we expect Nick to play for us next season and show his qualities here.”
When asked about a concrete offer from FC Bayern, he declined to comment: “If there are any talks at all, that’s a matter between the two clubs.”
-
🚨🔴 Tim Steidten on Sky about Nick #Woltemade and his agreement with FC Bayern:
“My feeling is that he will make the move. When a player positions himself so clearly and says he wants to join FC Bayern, it’s very difficult for a club like Stuttgart to stand in the way of that wish. That’s why I think the transfer will go through. […] I believe a German club should be willing to pay a bit more for a young German player than for one coming from abroad – especially FC Bayern.”
-
🚨🔴 Uli Hoeneß confirms concrete interest in Nick #Woltemade: “We still have time until the end of August. I consider him a very, very good player who would fit in perfectly with us, and I would be very pleased if that happens this year – and if not, then next year,” he told @[email protected].
