This is climate change - last night it appears a bear went through our back yard, it bent or knocked over our bird feeder poles and flipped our heavy trash can on its side. Bears have been doing the same all over our suburban neighborhood for days now. Now, I know it doesn’t rain bears, but this is a predicted result of climate change. Due to the extreme drought the food sources these animals rely on are in short supply, driving them towards trash cans and neighborhoods. And before you ask, yes I do hold a grudge against all those politicians who for decades now have resisted or now *rolled back* clean energy. God how I wish every damn thing weren’t political, but it just is FFS. Once you’re woke you can’t go back to sleep.

Do we “make it weird” by having to rewrite doctrine so that Christian misers don’t feel left out? Do we want credit for a righteousness that is free of mercy?
