I’m not cool with white culture co-opting the word “woke”, deciding that everything that was done before last week was “woke 1”, and then deciding to create a marketing campaign called “woke 2” where everyone still gets to act like racist, sexist, homophonic, xenophobic trash while spouting abundance bs all day.

The least woke thing anyone can do is vote for any of the assclowns who are part of the US political class.

…I don’t get out much, but I find it interesting that the concept of “Woke 1.0™” materialized in grand fashion in my awareness of the zeitgeist less than 1 week ago and now suddenly AOC is on TV delivering brush-off postmortemy statements in the same manner as that article in Jeffrey Goldberg’s The Atlantic a couple years ago which called for giving shitlibs a pass on COVID-era excesses, and this is all happening just a couple months before the midterm elections.

anyway, like I said I don’t get out much but it’s interesting that this is apparently where we’re at now. #Woke1 #uspol
