@Twelve I do like having updates, and disabling the auto-update agent completely kinda broke updates in general on a previous system, so that's not a route I prefer to go again. :)
Fortunately the Windows on this secondhand laptop seems to be a #WindowsPro installation, so I had easy access to the Group Policy editor, which supposedly should prevent the auto-reboots, which is the feature I indeed would like to disable.We'll see how well it works. :)
