  10. 🚨 Your Wi-Fi Network Reveals More Than You Think… 📡

Most people have no idea how many devices are connected to their network — or how easy it is to analyze a Wi-Fi environment using cybersecurity tools.

In this reel I demonstrate HighDacker, a powerful Android cybersecurity application used for wireless network analysis and security testing.

⚡ What you’ll see in the demo:
📡 Discover nearby Wi-Fi access points
📱 Identify devices connected to the network
🔎 Test network configurations using security auditing tools
🛡 Understand how devices can be managed or restricted inside a network

This is exactly why Wi-Fi security configuration matters more than most people realize.

⚠️ Demonstration performed for educational cybersecurity awareness only.

  18. An Australian national has been sentenced for operating “Evil Twin” WiFi networks targeting travelers in airports and on domestic flights.

Using a WiFi Pineapple, he cloned legitimate SSIDs and redirected users to phishing pages that harvested credentials and personal content.

AFP is urging the public to stay cautious with free WiFi - disable auto-connect, use a VPN, and avoid entering personal details on captive portals.

What security controls do you think would meaningfully reduce these risks?

Apparently most networks,at least in my current area, are WPA3,which is good for them I can't lie, though bad for "sith's" of hacking.

However I do realize that a school boy with YouTube tutorial can do same tricks,if not better.

  30. Free Wi-Fi at the café? It might not be from the café.

Evil Twin attacks create fake Wi-Fi networks that look legit—“Airport_Guest” or “Starbucks_Free”—but route all your traffic through a hacker’s setup.

    📌 Use a VPN.
📌 Never log into sensitive accounts on public Wi-Fi.
📌 When in doubt, hotspot it.

  32. New attack tactic! Attackers successfully breached a network by jumping from one Wifi to another in what is being called a “nearest neighbor attack.” The attackers breached a target across the street and daisy-chained Wi-Fi networks to infiltrate their target. This discovery underscores the urgency of securing high-value networks against sophisticated threats. What can you do to help prevent these attacks?

    - Limit signal range
    - Use discreet network names
    - Strengthen authentication
    - Limit Wi-Fi signal range.
    - Use non-obvious network names.
    - Strengthen authentication measures.
