This is my first ever summer solstice this high up north! We're more north than Helsinki area, but not Lapland yet.
It's not been dark here in months. The kind of twilight where the sun has set but it's still light enough to read and there are no stars visible just goes on for hours and hours until the sun rises again. The white nights.
This is the middle of the night, 1am summer time. I've lived through darker days in germany.
