  1. We will dance again.

In Jewish tradition, dancing is more than movement — it’s how we celebrate life, love, faith, and survival.

Today, these words carry a deeper meaning.
In the face of sorrow, terror, and unbearable loss, they’ve become our quiet anthem of resilience.
    They echo through the pain:
We will choose life. We will hold onto joy. We will not be broken.

To my Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel and around the world —
    Am Yisrael Chai.
    We will dance again. 💔🕊️🇮🇱

And to my non-Jewish friends standing with us:
Thank you for your support, your prayers, and your voices.
Your solidarity helps carry us forward — toward peace, healing, and hope.

Kommt vorbei.

Die Gefährt*innen in #Flensburg zeigen ebenfalls den Film "We will dance again". Los gehts da am 13.10. ab 18:30 im AZ Hafermarkt. Wer also in Flensburg und Umgebung wohnt sollte da vorbei schauen.

  5. As I sit to write this, I’m still grappling with raw emotions. Though 365 days have passed, it feels like we’re still living in the shadow of that day

That morning began like any other but quickly became a nightmare, leaving behind pain, uncertainty, and heartbreak

This year has been hard. Hard to process, heal, & make sense of such darkness. Some days I move through the motions, other days the pain is sharp, like it just happened

For the 101 still captive, we carry their absence together, balancing life with the weight of loss, uncertainty, and flickers of hope

Yet, we are still here, still standing. The weight of this year hasn’t crushed us, but it has tested us

Through quiet strength from one another—whether from loved ones or strangers saying “you are not alone”—we have found resilience

Let’s keep drawing strength from each other, not just today, but in the days ahead

Sending love and strength to all of you

    Inbal

  7. We Will Dance Again 💙🤍

Following my recent message about the documentary “We Will Dance Again”☝️ I received so many heartfelt messages from you all and I want to thank each and every one of you for reaching out 💙

One of the requests I received was to teach how to say and write "We Will Dance Again" in Hebrew — and it’s so fitting.

We will dance again. Even in the darkest of times, we hold onto the hope for peace across the Middle East and especially in Israel. We honor the victims of the Nova Festival massacre and stand in solidarity with those who have suffered. In their memory, we continue to believe in a future where music, love, and unity fill the air once more. May we never lose hope. 💔🕊️

    Shabbat Shalom 💙🤍

  8. This is not the most troubling review overall, but the fact that this even bears mention is galling:

"Of course, the horror has only proliferated in the year since. There is barely any mention of the Israeli government’s reaction to the 7 October attacks – in fact, the film provides almost no context about the conflict in the region."

This is the double standard at work. Imagine feeling the need to point out that a real-time documentary of how individual people experienced 9/11 doesn't go into detail about the invasion of Afghanistan or 'contextualise' American foreign policy.

  9. My husband & I just watched the documentary WE WILL DANCE AGAIN

I’ve already watched countless videos from & about Oct 7, including ones that have scarred me for life. But this documentary… it felt like one of the hardest to watch, and yet, a must

In a world where such atr0cities are being denied despite endless evidence—including videos, live streams from the scene, & testimonies from both sides—anyone who claims this was anything other than pure t@rr0r, a b@rbaric hunt1ng of innocents, needs to watch this before saying another word

& if, after watching it, you still don’t believe, then there are only two possibilities: you are either filled with h@te for Jews or you’ve been br@inwashed—or both

No one should ever have to endure what these souls saw, heard, & felt on that day. Yet, those who did were truly beautiful souls—believers in values that those who huntəd them down could never comprehend. Values like love, acceptance, peace, tolerance, kindness, & giving

  11. Those outside of the Europe can vote now for the participants of the #Eurovision second semifinal.

#Israel’s entry by Eden Golan was denied twice because the lyrics were deemed too political, referencing the October 7th Supernova dance massacre committed by Hamas. Finally a version was accepted. I think the song stands well on its own but if you know the background it’s much more meaningful. I think the choreography of the dancers (some of which is included in the live stage version) is powerful.

About the music festival massacre: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re’im_music_festival_massacre

A reminder that it was Hamas and associated terrorist groups that started the war on October 7th (bizarrely a lot of media seems to imply now that Israel started it). We know this because Hamas recorded and live-streamed much of their attack themselves: https://www.october7thattack.com/ (Warning: Graphic footage)

Israel’s entry into Eurovision, “Hurricane”, performed by Eden Golan: https://youtu.be/lJYn09tuPw4

The Eurovision Grand Final is this weekend. I’m expecting Switzerland to win but I hope to see Israel perform.
