There’s something very #weird about the #GreatAmericanStateFair. I don’t think it qualifies as a #WeirdTown, given its temporary status, but it does have a certain inherent falsity in common with them. Here’s a post I did on #weirdtowns a few years ago.

Recently I finally saw the 1973 #Canadian #horror / #comedy / #shlock #film #CannibalGirls, directed by #IvanReitman. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it has #WeirdTown elements. I wrote about #weirdtowns a couple of summers ago. doncurren.blogspot.com/2023/07/welc... #weird #PKD #Lovecraft
