    @kernellogger speaking of regressions... we are now in month 4 of a kernel regression causing the testing infrastructure of two distros to grind to a halt, requiring pinning old kernels (Ubuntu) or simply disabling all tests that require qemu (Debian). The reporters have analyzed it, root caused it, found the commit causing it, provided reproducers, reported to mailing list and bugzilla, provided tentative patches. On the kernel side?     IMO, this deserves a hotfix release...

    I really don't get how is on for a package maintainer to suggest using a head branch and wait for a new release in case of a package dependency issue.

    That's just reckless.

    The best part of GNOME Desktop is its extensions.

    Wait a minute...

    * There aren't part of GNOME
    * They aren't being developed by GNOME team.
    * GNOME developers don't give a damn supporting stable API for extensions.

    At the end of a day, extensions is the worst part of GNOME Desktop.
