I’ll be around Victoria Tech Week this week with Sentive Consulting, starting with Techtoria this morning.

I’m particularly interested in tech/data sovereignty at the moment: where our data goes, what dependencies we create, and when Canadian or more locally controlled alternatives make sense.

Also interested in the wider question of how organizations make good technology decisions - including whether and where AI is actually useful, rather than assuming it should be used.
