Das Rückgrat des Regionalverkehrs in #Victoria bilden mittlerweile die #VLocity-Züge, welche mich ein Stück weit an eine Kreuzung aus einer frühen Railjet-Designstudie und einem Renfe 598 erinnern. Sie verkehren sowohl im Breitspurnetz als auch auf der Normalspurstrecke nach Albury.
V.a. auf den dicht befahrenen Strecken wie nach Geelong wirken die vielen Diesel-Züge nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß, aber die dichten Zugfolgen zeigen, dass man Regio-Verkehr auch abseits der S-Bahnstrecken ernstnimmt.
