Gerade jetzt, wo im Garten alles explodiert, bieten sich nette Motive.
Selbst wenn die alten m42-Objektive nicht knackscharf sind, so haben sie anderen Qiualitäten - ein wunderbar, cremiges Bokeh zum Beispiel. In full-frame kommt das richtig gut.

A bunny showed up in the yard earlier and I got some cute shots of it.
These were all shot through an EOS Rebel T3i with a Canon FD 70-210mm f4 zoom lens mounted to it.

Vintage lenses sometimes have cemented lens groups, using Canada Balsam - from trees. It goes bad, becomes hazy, rainbowy, and needs fixing.
Today we test if mineral oil can suffice as a replacement. Long term? Who knows! Right now? Yes. It somehow does.

'Frozen Tree Shadows'
I snapped a pic of some tree shadows against the snow (it hasn't melted yet) because I thought it looked really cool.
This time around I ran my Canon FD 35-70mm f4 zoom lens on the Lumix.

Objektivringe...und ich glaube, ein Helios oder ein Autorevuenon Objektiv. Wahrscheinlich eher letzteres. Krass ist die Detailschärfe, wenn man aufzoomt. Haette ich grad bei meiner popiligen MFT-Kamera nicht gedacht.

Es wird langsam etwas mit dem #Frühling und wenn alles so weit wäre wie der verd.... Rasen, stünde der Garten in voller Blüte.
Und... ach ja, sagte ich es schon? Ich liebe alte Objektive. In diesem Fall hat mir das #Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 35-105mm f/3.5~4.5 AiS MACRO zum Bild verholfen.

Three faces of the same #sunset, at 50, 100 and 600mm, recpectively (might not be uploaded and displayed in that order).
The colours in these images were obtained with a custom RGB tone curve profile in Picture Style Editor. I'm including a screenshot of it. Colours themselves weren't changed (in the profile), albeit the mentioned custom profile is based on "Landscape" one that Canon cameras have built-in and I do find the latter to not be linear about it on the colour wheel. But, the posted photos are, technically, straight out of cam! As meaningful as that is with digital cameras 😜

Windowsill moth #orchid (Phalaenopsis) and christmas #cactus (Schlumbergera) are both blooming in white at the same time. The latter clearly didn't get the memo Christmas was over a month ago!
Lenses used were #Nikon E 100mm f/2.8 and #Soligor C/D 60-300mm f/4-5.6 MC, both with attached #Vivitar MC7 2x Macro Focusing #teleconverter on a #Canon body with #Godox X2T in control of two external V860II #flash guns (both with a white diffuser attached).
