btw i remember seeing the OG poster advertised at the old Mayagรผez theater. i didn't know it was a british movie cuz, since then, itโs been to me synonymous with white american suburbs. seriously, it creeped me out so much, i donโt remember seeing this movie.

BTW I definitely admit that was more competent than the average #Monsterdon movie, but let's just say it was not effective at making me care more about any human than the cow

I award #VillageOfTheDamned1960 4 out of 5 oriental puzzle boxes, including +1 points for having a cool dog in it. I liked the weird mystery setup.
This #monsterdon adhered to the philosophy that totally resolving your mystery plot is for losers. Did the kids come from outer space? From another universe? From Hell? It was probably space, but who knows.
The best character was the cool dog.

Honestly one of the best movies we've watched together. Just a flat out effective film. First half hour is a bit sluggish, but its excellent setup. Naturally the Owlbear has seen it before, but fam, it's been like 20 years.
Anyway, hope anyone staying up for it digs the remake, and thanks for making it fun tonight. Y'all are awesome, wonderful people to watch movies with.
Take care of each other. Be kind, spread love, think of a brick wall.
