The sky is dark in the #Pyrenees. Here's a view from the south of the #Vignemale, with its summit at 3298 m. It is illuminated by the setting moon, out of the frame. You can see the #Andromeda Galaxy, near the center of the image, and Perseus' double cluster towards the left.
It was a beautiful sight, well worth the effort to bring a decent camera and a tripod during a three-day #backpacking trip when every gram counts.
