    Took my Quansheng on an activation this morning. Made an 80 mile contact on FM, then we switched to SSB. Good reports both ways, in both modes.
    And I was able to send a few APRS packets, that were successfully received!

    Highly recommend you get a Quansheng UV-K5 for yourself!

    New firmware loaded! I am running the "0.3Q" variant.

    I have not tried Chirp yet, but there's some discussion of some variants not working.

    and I guess I'm confused by all of the versions, it looks like APRS and CW are in the 0.2 series?
