  1. ADDED ON EDIT: Technically, some of the links DO work. But we have multiple email addresses authorized to use the same AdSense account. You can't just log in with address Alpha to look at an issue reported to address Beta even though you're looking at the same account. That would simply be user-friendly and convenient.

I cannot help but wonder how the people at Google decide to create a template for AdSense notifications. Every link is completely useless. You click on them and you land on the home page of your account.

Site approved? See the home page. If you're lucky, the site is actually named in the email. If not, well, scroll through the list of sites and figure out what changed.

Got a violation notification? Don't worry. We won't tell you which site, which page, or what the specific violation was. But we'll redirect you to a meaningless list of potential policy guidelines without any helpful context.

The only Google service more braindead than the AdSense notifications in my experience is the user verification process, which repeatedly fails you regardless of how many emails you receive or how often you put in the only phone number ever associated with the account.

I only deal with these moronic services because years ago we naively believed that Google actually knew what it was doing, and now our portfolio is stuck in the system.

Happily, we gave up on Google Analytics years ago and now can delete all the oblivious emails they keep sending us even though we're not tracking any sites.
