  5. An ICE supervisory detention officer is being called back to testify at the trial of three Spokane protesters after independent website Range revealed his secret X account. Jeremy Burlingame deleted the account, but the defense team for the Spokane 3 had already documented disparaging posts about transgender people and Black people, which even the prosecution team described as "horrendous." Here's the full story from Erin Sellers.

  37. U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to drop his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS, according to @abc. His price? The creation of a $1.7 billion taxpayer-funded reserve that would compensate allies who claim they were wrongfully targeted by the Biden administration. This includes nearly 1,600 individuals charged in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, and potentially entities associated with Trump. "Under the terms of the potential settlement agreement, President Trump would have the authority to remove members of the commission running the fund without cause, and the commission would be under no obligation to disclose its procedures or decision-making process for awarding more than a billion dollars," ABC says.
