I need #US #healthcare advice.
I went to the ER with a kidney stone. They gave me ibuprofen and Flomax and sent me home to pee it out, they estimated a 60% chance of success, 40% chance I'll need surgery. They said get a #urology appointment ASAP.
Soonest appointment I've found is in 3 weeks. Painkillers run out before then, and it's not good to take ibuprofen 24/7 for that long anyway.
What do I do if I can't get an appointment sooner? Any tips for getting appointments faster?
