    On 8/2/1970 residents in Caldwell, NJ, reported a mysterious "wire" or "silver thread" suspended in the sky above their house, stretching into the clouds & motionless regardless of weather. It was eventually pulled down and analyzed, determined to be similar to nylon fishing line, but no explanation for its origin or seemingly impossible behavior was discovered.

    Hoffa left his home on the morning of 7/30/1975, supposedly for a meeting with Mafiosi Anthony"Tony Pro" Provenzano & Anthony "Tony Jack" Giacalone, and never returned. He is presumed murdered, but this has never been proven, nor have his remains been discovered. Hoffa was declared dead 7/30/1982.
