U.K. wages. Saw a junior software tester one year contract PAYE in London.
It pays £20 per day more than the real living wage for London.
Now that is better than a lot of jobs I’m sure, but that is not a lot extra and I could so easily imagine a junior person having some unexpected cost like a flat / room security deposit or such just swallow that up easily.
No good.
