Happy Thanksgiving!

I figured that instead of just posting random thoughts like I did on Twitter, I can probably use Mastodon to post progress about my work (that isn't behind an NDA).

But then I didn't do any work this week, so here's a turkey that I made yesterday.

Now that I’m out of the #turkeycoma the meal recap:

Mushroom soup (à la Julia Child): a lovely way to start; fiancée says soup in vol. 2 is much easier

Turkey: solid, perhaps ever so slightly over

Gravy: stock from veggie scraps and giblets; I should have used drippings from turkey too

Cranberry chutney: Ma does something different every year; this was a keeper
