    User experience is so important. And that's kinda sad because it often means you can't just tell somebody to try something but also usually have to almost walk them through it.

    #InternetRadio has struggled for so long. Having an open directory (see below) is necessary but probably not enough. You've also gotta get people to play around with something as nice as #TuneFM for Android (I'm also paying $1/month for no ads).

    some streams include data that allows the app to know what songs were played. so #TuneFM keeps track of what songs were played, providing a link to Spotify.

    but imagine if instead the app also played songs directly from a musician's site via #canimus. if the app was not only a radio but a decentralized version of Spotify with DJs helping you build your music library?

    So the #TuneFM app for Android is everything I've asked for out of #InternetRadio. Fucking awesome.

    Is the developer here somewhere? I'm in love.

    EDIT: Damnit. I don't think it's FOSS.
