The stock market is a Tulip bubble, IMHO

I’ve long thought that the stock market is a scam, or at best a variation of the Tulip Bubble, here’s why:
- Hundreds of millions of people are buying stock and there are not that many publicly traded companies world wide, thereby driving up prices
- Company valuation is mostly imaginary wishful thinking
- Not all stock holders are equal within a listed company
- Only half of listed companies pay dividends
- Stocks are often manipulated, such as through buybacks
- Corporate governance is weak
- Corporate oversight and regulatory constraints are weak
- Excessive C-suite and director compensation and bonuses
