    Where this gets dangerously tricky--as I've pointed out here before--is that this is actually NOT a strategically good moment to see Donald Trump removed from office. Not by God, not by impeachment, not by 25th Amendment, and not by Iranian or Russian assassination.

    Because the Constitution we HAVE has given #TRUMPUBLICANS the presidency through 2028--so lopping the head off #Trumpism's snake NOW would simply replace an obviously sundowning, incompetent clown who was never that bright to BEGIN WITH, with a YOUNGER, MORE COMPETENT FASCIST like Reichsleiter Vance or Commander Mike "Small" Johnson, R (Gilead), with two years to prepare--as an incumbent president--for a re-election bid that #AgolfShitler ISN'T EVEN ELIGIBLE FOR.

    If--God forbid--the midterms fail to deliver A TOTAL BLOODBATH for Trumpublicans, I could see some value in launching a process to remove him THAT WE KNOW WILL FAIL, just to get it on the record (which may be the point Julius is making). But for now, I would have to say the strategically wiser choice is to leverage all Trump's failings & fascist loathsomeness TO DELIVER THAT BLOODBATH--and THEN, with a Democratic Speaker of the House third in line, launch the attempts to remove Trump AND Vance and actually save the nation.

    @JorisBohnsonPM There's AN ELEMENT of that to it, to be sure. But it's more than that. There's also the 'wag the dog' piece that's about saving the congressional midterms for #Trumpublicans so he can continue his fascist project (although for him personally, the Epstein connection is intertwined there in the same way the fear of ending his life in prison is there for Netanyahu). And both of those played a dominant role in getting the war STARTED.

    But this bit here that we've been seeing recently--the escalating, unhinged RAGE--is almost entirely his malignant narcissism talking: he is simply LIVID that no amount of force, from the most powerful nation on the planet, has been sufficient to make Iran bend the knee to the #Donjjal. To Donald J. Trump, THAT is the ultimate offense, worthy of wiping them off the planet--and why its entirely plausible that he may be considering ordering a nuclear strike.

    Ironically, in the moment--because we ARE dealing with a deeply disordered personality here--that is likely overriding even rational consideration of his own self-preservation, and COULD finally provoke his removal from office, whether by constitutional or extraconstitutional means.

    THIS. I'm still a conservative. And when #Trumpublicans still BOTHER TO cosplay as conservatives, they still advance a fair number of policies I like. I didn't leave the Republican Party--the Republican Party LEFT ME.

    Because #TodaysGOP are NOT conservatives who want to "make America great again"; they're RACISTS AND FASCISTS who want to burn the Constitution, bring back lynchings (and concentration camps) and make us GROVEL to the #Donjjal. And no amount of lipstick on that pig is ever gonna make it halal.
