Has the whole #TRQ acquisition saga finally ended? #RioTinto has announced that takeover of outstanding shares is complete, TRQ website already rerouts to RT, TRQ and thus last vestige of Ivanhoe/OyuTolgoi as "Canadian" project disappears.
No impact on #Mongolia-n gov-owned 34% stake in #OyuTolgoi at this point, but settlement of takeover should give RioTinto access to finance for final push to complete underground construction at OyuTolgoi.
