The Entry/Exit System marks a new era in border security.
Since its launch on 12 October 2025, over 56 million entries and exits have been recorded, with more than 28.000 refusals of entry across Schengen countries.

Passport stamps are being replaced with digital records for non-EU travellers, helping modernise border management and strengthen security.

Dizer mal da UE é fácil e comum nas redes, há tanta trollagem anti-UE que até evito criticar, mas esta campanha sobre o novo sistema de entrada e saída da UE para estrangeiros é de um cinismo... Há muitos bons argumentos para este novo sistema, mas dizer que facilita a vida ao viajante que vem de fora não é, absolutamente, um deles. Mais lento, menos privacidade e eventualemente mais caro não é "easier", give me a break.
