When it comes to metric vs imperial unit, I never hear about how metric numbers aren’t highly composite. 12, 60, 360 are even “superior” highly composite number. They’re way more useful in “real world” uses because they can divide evenly in more ways.

That said, any imperial unit that isn’t a highly composite number is silly (looking at you 3 feet/yard, 1760 yards/miles, 16 oz/lb and almost all imperial fluid units)

Finally, I prefer baking in grams and milliliters

You can't win an argument someone who doesn't care. Wider point: Aligning values of othe people with yours is too hard. Instead, you want to be in the position of not needing them for success and they needing you instead. #ThoughOfTheDay
