Zeph introduces their SLIC method of goal setting and shares why and how self-care isn't selfish (and isn't what you might think of when you hear the term "self-care").
This is a perfect listen for anyone who's struggled with binary thinking around success and "failure," and for neurodivergent entrepreneurs, anti-hustle advocates, and anyone who's felt like traditional achievement frameworks just don't fit.

It's a non-secret that I fall in love with my Thinkydoers podcast guests over the course of recording and producing their episodes -- and y'all.
I just recorded with @chaunabryant -- creator of the Breathwork Liberation Society -- and I already love this episode.

If you've been wondering how to use AI more responsibly, this conversation is for you.
Listen to Part 1 this week, and then come back for Part 2 next week where we dive into actual use cases from both of our repertoires.
-
Generative AI is one of the hottest topics among Thinkydoers these days. I see folks in my network swapping tool recos and prompt tips every day -- and while the utility of the tools can't be overstated for some of us, neither can our concerns.
And with Generative AI tools multiplying like crazy, are they truly democratizing technology or just concentrating more power in the hands of a few?

✨ Are you creating OKRs or just making to-do lists? ✨
Getting things done is great—but that’s the job of project management. If you need to drive an outcome, that's what OKRs are for. Mixing the two? That’s a recipe for confusion.
In OKR Forecast 2025: Insights from the Experts, I break down this common mistake and how to fix it.

In reality, in a healthy OKR implementation, we recognize that some of what's most important needs OKRs -- our growth, transformation, and innovation efforts. But there is a lot of important work where what's most important is that it gets ✨done.✨ And work that just has to get DONE doesn't need an OKR.
Not everything needs a Key Result. Strategy is about driving meaningful change together, not documenting every deliverable.

One of the things I love most about #podcast ing is hearing guests say things I already know but having the words sink in and move past my brain and into my belief.
I struggle mightily with imposter-y thoughts. They are one of the biggest ways I hold myself back.
Next week’s #Thinkydoers guest — Jayson Uribe, a pro motorcycle racer — talks about high performance as excellent execution of the basics
and my system’s response was: “Hey wait! I do that all the time! Why am I so hard on myself?”

Instead of the risk of the all-or-nothing bad feelings that we get when we set and don't achieve activity-focused goals, when we create key results, and pursue objective improvement... the objectivity helps us be curious about our performance whether we're making progress or not, instead of judging it.

Play isn’t just for kids. It’s a biological necessity that can transform your mental well-being and even help manage mental health symptoms like hypervigilance and anxiety.
I feel so lucky to have play expert @theplayfulrevolution back for a 2nd episode in our two-part Thinkydoers podcast series on play. If you haven’t already, listen to last week’s episode for fundamentals about the science of play:

Curious about the journey from product leader to CEO? This week's Thinkydoers is part two of my conversation with Sten Pittet, Founder and CEO of Tability.
Hear about Sten's career journey starting in software development after uni, into product engineering in a mid-size company (that became a large company during his tenure), and then the transition into the CEO and founder seat with his latest venture, Tability.http://saralobkovich.com/thinkydoers-pod/product-engineer-to-ceo-sten-pittet
