Hmm. I've been thinking. Do games like Eurofly make players have an online identity? I can't remember. On one hand I like my Freight Fate player choice, on the other the community feels fragmented because a lot of people are playing and are not showing up on the boards. Right now its just an activity thing to test how I could handle online connectivity, but leaderboards would be nice to rank stuff as well as what people really want, online CB chat etc. Which would require more moderation. #FreightFate #Thinkingoutloud

Just taken a pause from writing my story.
I am currently writing it in the first person, mainly because I like first person, and have always wanted to write in first person...but now I'm wondering if Third person would serve this story better.

Hmm, perhaps I should write the first scene in third person and compare how they read against each other, before making a decision.

And even sees it as a moral duty to do so.

So the Great Replacement is happening, but popular-right framing makes us look in the wrong direction.

Ok, so this is a long one…

The first entry of 2026 in my ongoing series of #ThinkingOutLoud about #ArtsPedagogy touches on Dewey, Vygotsky and scaffolding, and the micro-phenomenological interview as outlined by Claire Petitmengin. And tries to tie it all to film education.

This one ended up being quite long… In my continuing #ThinkingOutLoud series during my #ArtsPedagogy research semester, I return to #creativity and work though some more takes on it before starting to develop my personal theory of creativity.

Short version: after rejecting theories of creativity that define it based on the output, I explore some alternatives and sketch a theory based on:

- stimulus,
- originality / novelty,
- intention, and
- action.

I’m sure I’ll return to this again — if nothing else to show how this means #AI can’t be creative — but I think this is as far as I get before returning to work in January. There are still other topics to explore first.

Hell no. Got sketchbooks and digital files brimming with rough drafts and killer lines, but mostly meant for lyrics.

Released the book casually again, seeing specific themes work better as standalone pieces. People often mention rhythm or melody, but hey, if you're keen on singing—knock yourself out. Maybe I'll chill by listening to AI-generated opinions for my poetry instead. My writing serves as extra fuel for upcoming songs ✌️

This evening I looked at my timeline, starting with the 2021 first post.
I've truly been drawn back into #Amiga coding using the tools of the time like #AMOS.
#COMAL is still in my head: I intend to use and delve into further; but first I need to complete #TheGate which is monopolizing all my time.
I don't know what happened to me in the last 2 years... but getting back to the Amiga, even if mainly using emulators, has rekindled my creativity that had been dormant for a while.

Dear beloved: For real though, here's why I think #FediverseDating will work wonders

1. Privacy-first #romance: no data harvesting your intimate preferences
2. Community-curated connections (no algorithm manipulation)
3. Values-based matching: find people who actually share your ethics
4. No venture capital pressure to keep you single and swiping

Question is: How can I bridge the gap between "decentralization is good but how do we actually find love here?"

Which brings up further questions like
1. Can we build romance outside of Big Tech? (i hope so!)
2. Is love possible in the time of Surveillance Capitalism?
3. Would people read my D3: Decentralized Dating Diaries aka my journey calling in love on Fedi, LOL
