"Who Are You" is the title track on #theWho's 1978 album, #WhoAreYou, the last album released by the group before #KeithMoon's death in September 1978. It was written by #PeteTownshend and released as a double-A-sided single with the #JohnEntwistle composition "#HadEnough", also featured on the album. The song was one of the band's biggest hits in North America, peaking at number 7 in Canada and at number 14 in the United States.

#Smithereens never hid their influences, #BritishInvasion #PowerPop especially early #Kinks and #TheWho, but their music never sounds dated; the standout track “Blood and Roses” was regarded as so cool and modern upon its release, it was used to great effect in an otherwise-wordless opening scene of an episode of #MiamiVice. (Move over, #PhilCollins.)
There’s a luminous quality to #PatDiNizio’s vocals - I hear a little #MickeyDolenz, a little #BobMould (which is not a bad delineation of their musical territory), but uniquely his own; Mike Mesaros’s #BassLines offer countermelodies. An occasional dash of #tambourine with the solid drumming adds some #60s energy, their chord progressions both hint at and evoke yearning, and of course there are those jangling/biting guitars. These elements all come together on “Alone at Midnight.”
