#TheVolume sure leaves you awestruck.
But then again: you may have all the fancy gadgetry in the world and still… storytelling rules.
La Jetée (1962) was made on a budget of something like what? 500 francs and a crate of wine? And it’s still haunting and breathtaking.

(Does anyone know what that story was later remade into?) -
#WritersCoffeeClub 11 Do you consider any of your work to be unfilmable?
Not per se. It's all a matter of budget.
I would shoot the #SoulBearer trilogy in #TheVolume/ #Stagecraft™️ due to it being fantasy and therefore requiring quite some VFX shots. Later scenes of #FindingMe take place in the future. #MichaelAndLucas probably never gets completed.

@mikebrew Just an aside: Loki (even the massive moon-destroying scene) was NOT done in #TheVolume. Actually according to #MarvelLegends (the show) the town where #Loki and #Sylvie were running around was the largest, most detailed - set Marvel has ever assembled. It was on the Atlanta backlot.
#LoveAndThunder was partially done in The Volume.
ps: none of #WandaVision was in TheVolume either. It was all green-screen and normal SFX.

Starting #1899 (that SHOULD'VE #hashtagged, but didn't) last night. Got 15 min into the episode and was so tired, I had to go to sleep.
Gonna finish it today. Looks AMAZING!
BTW, @mikebrew, this uses the #TheVolume (like Disney's?) to make this show too!
"Go behind the scenes and see how the creators of "Dark" used groundbreaking virtual technology "The Volume" to shoot their new mystery series."

I have trouble recognizing faces out of context, so after watching #1899, I tried to find a listing of the characters in the final scene to understand who was all there.
Instead I learn that there are a lot of people who didn't understand anything of the final. I mean, there's obviously questions left unanswered for the next series, but to not grasp the general context? Amazing.
The making of feature on #Netflix after the fact, showing #TheVolume sound stage -- as cool as the show itself.
