  1. He's implementing the selection. He's implementing the Nazi process whereby those considered fit and capable enough to work were kept alive, albeit starved, whereas the rest - men, women, children, infants, everyone not selected to work - were, by failing to be selected, instantly a burden on the system. Humans require food. Food costs money. So they were murdered in gas chambers. It was efficient, and it was cheap. The Jews and others kept coming. They just kept coming. There was no more room. What was a Nazi to do to please Dear Leader?

    Their bodies were efficiently stripped naked and thrown into piles to be burned later in the ovens. But ovens cost money, too, so piles of murdered, naked victims of the Nazis remained for soldiers to witness and for photographs to be taken to memorialize what the Republican party of the United States of America has chosen to resurrect.

    Republicans will do far worse than Hitler ever dreamed of. Why? Because they know everything you know about Hitler, yet they animate his rotting corpse.

  2. The Selection Series 2: The Elite (2013)

    A ver, es un libro entretenido, pero tiene el defecto de ser la parte intermedia de una trilogía. Al igual que el primero, parece terminar en un momento aleatorio. Echo en falta un cliffhanger impactante de segunda parte al estilo "En Llamas" o "El Imperio Contraataca".

    Pero es muy fácil de leer así que voy a seguir con esta saga porque es lo que me pide el cuerpo.

  3. Leída #TheSelection de Kiera Cass.

    Buen libro, básicamente los juegos del hambre pero con vestidos de gala, y en vez de pelear por sobrevivir es por casarse con un príncipe. Hasta se debate entre el amor antiguo que dejó en casa y el nuevo que siente por el príncipe.

    Es novela romántica Young Adult facilona, 100% mi mierda, me ha encantado.
