I just discovered the #TV series #TheNevers. The premiere episode was good, and it's set in the Victorian era which I really like.
Sadly, only 12 episodes because it was cancelled.
Why is it good shows get cancelled and garbage ones get multiple seasons these days? 🤪 The 20s is really bad for series productions, eh?

@jwilker There are rumors that they filmed more episodes that were on a streaming service, but I never figured out how to watch them.
To be clear, I loved #TheNevers. Great cast, strong character development, interesting story. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Annoyed that I spent $20 to buy what was advertised as the first season of The Nevers on Amazon Prime and it was only the first six episodes. Amazon doesn’t even have the remaining six episodes.
I need to figure out where I can watch them. Tubi doesn’t have them anymore.

I really enjoyed "The Nevers", the long wait between part 1 and part 2 of the series were painful.
The characters were awesome and portrayed very well by the actors. The effects were a delight.
I didn't love seeing Olivia Williams play such a mean character but she did it so well she had me hating her by the end of the series.
While a little sad with all the killing, I did enjoy the ending and felt it was wrapped up very well. I'm grateful it was not left to languish on a shelf.

Now rewatching #TheNevers to prepare for the second half of the first season, and I liked the pilot even better than 2 years ago. The show didn't get the attention it deserved.

Free #streaming service #Tubi will roll out of the complete run of #HBO's #TheNevers, including the six episodes that were not broadcast. The bad news is the series is in rotation on the WB TV Watchlist Channel so if you miss the live stream, you will have to wait until it comes around again. Episodes 1-5 start Monday, Feb. 13 at 12:39 PM ET. Episodes 6-9, Tuesday, Feb. 14 starting at 1:28 PM ET, and Episodes 10-12, Wednesday, Feb. 15 starting at 2:40 PM ET. The next rotation will be March 1-3.

Frustrating. #TheNevers are a really good TV show. First 6 ep. aired 2021. They filmed the last 6 after rewriting them to conclude the series after 1season. Then promised to air in Dezember, but then pulled it. Wonder if we will ever see them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The\_Nevers
