"Our Lips Are Sealed" is a song co-written by #JaneWiedlin, guitarist of #theGoGos, and #TerryHall, singer of #theSpecials and #FunBoyThree. It was first recorded by the Go-Go's as the opening track on their first album, #BeautyAndTheBeat (1981), and was released as their debut single in June 1981. The single eventually reached the top three in Australia and Canada as well as the top 20 in the United States. Originally written and performed with three verses.

Vacation
1982 Canada pressingWanted something light hearted and #newwave -y from the #80s and landed on this.
Clearly not as fun or enjoyable as Beauty And The Beat, but it’s got its moments, and it’s a record I still enjoy today.
Now… TALK SHOW on the other hand? Reprehensibly bad, despite the one good single on it.
If “Head Over Heels” was on either of the first two, there’d be ZERO reason for Talk Show to exist.
There’s an idea.
The next time anybody reissues either of the first two albums, put that song on one of them, so we can just forget the third even happened at all. We could literally wipe Talk Show out of existence.
Anyway… THIS album is probably a B or B-, while Talk Show needs a new invented letter grade worse than F to truly grade it properly.
