I have seen the definition of #TuneTuesday this week as #ThatIsActuallyGood meaning a song/band I pretend not to like.
I don't really do that, so I am choosing a song that is just well outside my usual listenings. This is Chris Stapleton with his old band The Steeldrivers, singing If It Hadn't Been For Love: https://youtu.be/QAxEJ67MIH4

For my own #TuneTuesday entry, a song #ThatIsActuallyGood is the first song I ever heard from Nickelback - Leader of Men.

#TuneTuesday : #ThatIsActuallyGood - A song you like from a band you pretend not to like
Share a song from a band that you pretend not to like. This week’s theme comes from @derthomas
Tune Tuesday is a weekly prompt to share music. Each week there is a new theme pulled by @Kitty and a corresponding hashtag. This is mostly on Mastodon, but thanks to the power of federation I can tag @music here and share it to the Music community at Beehaw.org.

#TuneTuesday #ThatIsActuallyGood #kpop #trot
I don't have songs I pretend to hate that I secretly like... but a lot of people seem to do that with trot music, so have a trot song... lol...

Hello people!
This week's #TuneTuesday is brought to us by @derthomas . And this is a tough one! #ThatIsActuallyGood , or a song I like from a band I pretend not to like.
I feel far less ashamed now than in the past. But there IS something I enjoy from a band I don't like (or so I think).
The band is Duran Duran. I'm not particularly fond of them, but I like a couple of songs. Here is one of them.

It's #TuneTuesday and the theme is #ThatIsActuallyGood: a song by an artist/band you pretend not to like.
The crucial word here is *pretend* - I dislike lots of artists, some of whom have recorded a good song or two.
I really can't think of any I now claim not to like but really do. In the past, though, the Strokes totally fit this bill. Trust-fund kids buying their way to stardom, I'd have said. But they recorded some damn good music.

So, this week's #TuneTuesday from @Kitty has a theme of #ThatIsActuallyGood from @derthomas. The idea being that it's songs you pretend not to like, but actually do.
My problem? I don't feel guilty about any guilty pleasure songs. If I like it, I like it.
Older #aespa that @gnitro likes to pick on? Yup, I dig it.
#Nickelback who the internet likes to mock? Yup, I'm down; wrote an article defending them years ago.
#Music from kid's movies that parents pretend not to like? I have absolutely posted about how #MonsterHigh music is far better than it has any right to be.
So...maybe I'll just pass. Cause :akkoShrug:

When you open your Mastodon on a Tuesday and your inbox exploded, you know that your prompt has been drawn from @Kitty's magic tin box because it's #TuneTuesday
So, what did I have in mind when I though about #ThatIsActuallyGood - "songs you pretend not to like"?
No idea honestly 😂
BUT: 20(!!!) years ago, #BillyTalent was a thing. And all my friends said they suck. So they did suck.
But I actually found them catchy AF, so I nominate:

#TuneTuesday has the theme of #ThatIsActuallyGood which is a song from a band you pretend not to like.

Okay so #TuneTuesday has the theme of #ThatIsActuallyGood which is a song from a band you pretend not to like.
There aren’t any bands I pretend not to like now, but growing up I disliked Guns N’ Roses and it took me a long to accept that they had any merit and even longer to admit it 🤫
Therefore my choice is Nightrain by Guns N’ Roses. Link is the song on YouTube

This week's #TuneTuesday is #ThatIsActuallyGood - A song by an artist/band you pretend not to like - and a fun thing to think about. Great idea, @derthomas. 😎
I like to think that at my age I don't have to pretend much anymore, but there's a genre where I somehow enjoy the music, but the posturing to be cool and the whiny moping that come with it just annoy me: Nu Metal. 🙈
Tetrarch with 'I'm not right' will have to serve as an example.

Morgen alles, today was very much still bleeergh at 5am but at least there's #TuneTuesday to look forward to. This week @Kitty 's tin has let @derthomas 's theme #ThatIsActuallyGood loose. A song by a band/artist that you pretend not to like. I can honestly say there's no bands that really fit that category but there are plenty where I like maybe one song that is either a change from their usual stuff or is just for some reason better so here's En Vogue: Free your mind https://youtu.be/i7iQbBbMAFE

#TuneTuesday theme is #ThatIsActuallyGood a song by a band you pretend not to like.
This is a tough one, I don't actually do much pretending. But I guess I would go for a band people probably wouldn't guess I liked unless I told them.
