More Monster High customization! This time we’re adding details to Frankie’s prosthetic leg! Painting her bolts and prosthetic joint in silver. I’ve still got some stitches to do, but it’s looking good so far!

We recently found a Sweet 1600 Cleo at the discount store. @KikiLaFey had seen some pictures where people painted her wrappings to make them more prominent, so I gave it a shot. This is three coats of white paint, starting with lighter white and working to a more off white. Then I washed it was a bronze and antique gold paint before sealing it in matte. The attempt was to give her wrappings that old mummy look.

Here’s a different skirt. Draculaura has a curvy body type so I had to add darts to the waistband to have it sit correctly.

And here’s the whole line of skirts! I’m working on a pink one for Draculaura, but this one fits her well. She’s a bit thicker than the weres.

Recently, we got Gore-geous Oasis Draculaura and her hair was a complete mess out of the box. They pinned her head to the back of the box. Her bangs were like gelled into two hard chunks. Her locks looked like she had already been played with, hard. It was honestly a little disappointing to see her like that. So, I took her for a little spa day and... Now she looks pretty and put together!
