Hey, fella Texans. TEXSAR is out in the floods rescuing folks and checking on stranded people and critters.
It’s a lot to be a part of #TEXSAR, there’s a lot of #FEMA training, plus the horses have to qualify, and everyone is responsible for providing their own horses and tack. And PTSD therapy after events like this.
Turbo Lloyd was a hella rescuer horse. Not scared of anything but his own toots…he would toot and run from his own butt…hence, Turbo Lloyd. Lloyd can’t go into the ravines any more, but there’s a whole host of ponies and people who do. If you’ve got some pocket change, maybe throw some in the feed bucket.
