  1. Yup. Omnivalent agents who can/might do anything in/per "mysterious ways" is always the more probable explanation for any event. Never mind proteins or solar systems, I'm talking a slot machine sequence, a roll of a die, or a flip of a coin. Heck, even a negative roll of a die. Like, the probability would be 1, if you assume such an agent, who desires a specific state of affairs "because reasons".

  2. Guillermo Gonzalez has been doing the apologetics promo circuit recently, and it's getting tedious repeatedly hearing some variation of "appeal to sweet spot" in argument for some "intelligent design", when the "sweet spot" is itself set up by the "intelligent designer".
