We are receiving multiple reports from #CalStateMontereyBay employees that are unable to connect to the GlobalProtect VPN because they are receiving a certificate error.
We are aware of this issue and working to resolve it.

#CSUMB's OnBase ODBC connections are not working. This affects all of our OnBase forms.
We are aware of this issue and working on a resolution but do not have an estimated time of repair.

Update: Contract negotiations between DirecTV and Disney corporation completed. Channels restored.

Due to a contract dispute between DirecTV and Disney, several television channels are off the air. These missing channels include: Disney Channel, ABC, ESPN, and FX.
There will be a notice on these channels as to why they are no longer available.

Hey #CSUMB Otters: If you are using Adobe Creative cloud desktop app and it is freezing or not working correctly, go to the Help menu and select try "Sign in using your browser." Sign in with your regular CSUMB credentials.

The new #CSUMB Campus Data Warehouse will go live at noon on August 12, 2024.
The new Campus Data Warehouse no longer requires a VPN and can be launched right from your CSUMB Dashboard by clicking on the Campus Data Warehouse app.

Update: PrinterLogic update completed.
๐ง Printer Logic scheduled maintenance on August 2, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ๐ง
Printer Logic, #CSUMB's printing management system, will be performing a routine maintenance on it's servers starting Friday August 2, 2024 at 8:00 p.m.
The expected maintenance window is one hour and it is expected that printing on campus will not be available during this time.

Starting at 1:00 pm SumTotal (CSULearn has been taken offline to perform emergency maintenance at the CSU Chancellor's Office.
It is not expected to be available again until tomorrow July 31, 2024.

We will be installing a security patch on clearpass July 31, 2024 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Clearpass is how our customers authenticate on the #CSUMB Wi-Fi but users should still be able to authenticate during the installation so this is not expected to impact service.

๐ง OSU switch restart July 30, 2024 at 5:00 am.๐ง
We will be restarting the switch that serves the #CSUMB Otter Student Union (bldg 552) Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 5:00 am.
We expect there to be a minimal service interruption during this time since the restart is happing at 5:00 am. The switch should take approximately ten minutes to reboot.

Information Technology at #CSUMB is preparing the campus for the upcoming fall semester.
Our service priorities are:
1. Getting computer labs ready for students.
2. Making sure faculty are ready.
3. Ensuring key service areas are ready for new and returning students.
4.Taking care of new and returning students when they arrive in on campus.

CSUMB Wi-Fi users may be asked to trust a new certificate the next time they connect to the CSUMB Wi-Fi. If prompted trust the certificate.

๐ง SumTotal maintenance June 16, 2024 from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.๐ง
SumTotal, also called CSULearn, will be undergoing a maintenance on Sunday June 16, 2024.
During the maintenance customers can expect intermittent log in issues into the #CSUMB SumTotal online learning management system.
The maintenance window is expected to last approximately two hours.

๐งZoom emergency location emails June 7, 2024 at 10:30 am.๐ง
We have been working Zoom's e911 emergency location services. Customers may receive emails with a link to verify their emergency location. These emails are legitimate and if you receive one it's okay to verify.
Alternatively you may receive a notification in the Zoom app itself asking you to confirm your emergency location- especially if you have multiple possible locations.
