Was showing my 15yo some basic gpt3 stuff this morning and he was amazed. That same kind of amazed he had when I would pull coins from his ear when he was 4 heh.
I got up to refill my coffee and he sat down to modify the prompt in the openai cli example I was using to ask "is Trevor cooler than Zate" and laughed when the response informed him that Zate was infact cooler than Trevor.
I then showed him how I could generate 6 topic sections for a blog on "The Ethics of using #AI to do your homework" and then ask it to generate 2 paragraphs for a specific topic.
Lightbulbs went off lol. Now he is finally asking me if I can help him learn to program. So finding him some resources to learn python. Only been trying to do that for about 8 years lol.
I thought it would be games that got him into tech (like me) but it turns out that AI is interesting to him.
