Even if we're into building #MonolithicSystems: Those should be easily redeployable in exactly such cases where an attack or cautious root admins cut off that system from the interwebs. #DNS change and done.

Single points of failure in an architecture are not the main problem—having an architecture that cannot be redeployed is: That’s a design decision asking for trouble…
