The Sienna Saints are coached by Gerry McNamara, who played for and coached with Jim Boeheim at Syracuse. So you know I was rooting for the Saints over the hated Blue Devils.

I started following the Orange in 1980, back when they were still called the Orangemen. Otto wasn't their mascot yet. I was in Syracuse the summer of 1980 when the Carrier Dome was inflated. Untl Red Autry became the headcoach 3 years ago, Jim Boeheim was the only SU coach I'd ever known. He also grew up in the little town next to my home town. My dad had friends who went to high school with Jim Boeheim.

Got the Knicks and Orange on tonight, so I'll need to make some decisions on what to watch. I'll probably start with the Orange and switch to the Knicks.
